Getting My Ass Kicked (And Learning From It)
Started as an MMA fighter because I thought I was tough. Got humbled real quick. Nothing teaches you about movement, mental toughness, and what your body can actually handle like getting punched in the face by people who know what they're doing.
But here's the thing - every challenges taught me something. How to move efficiently. How to stay calm under pressure. How to break down complex shit into simple steps. Turns out, these are the exact same skills you need to be a real coach.
Finding My Real Purpose
Turns out, my ego wanted to be a fighter, but my soul wanted to be a teacher. 12 years ago, I started helping people train and something clicked. Watching someone discover they're way stronger than they thought? That shit hits different than any personal victory.
From group classes where we'd sweat buckets and laugh our really hard, to one-on-one sessions where people would breakthrough mental barriers they didn't even know they had. That's when I knew - this is what I'm supposed to be doing with my life.
