This supplement protocol is designed for individuals that have tested positive for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) via the 2hr Lactulose Breath Test I recommend in Go With Your Gut.

Similar to antibiotics, these products are designed to kill bad bacteria in the gut.  The only difference being, they don't kill ALL bacteria; and as cited in the book, do a better job at eradicating SIBO (link to study).
